DONATIONS

Our boarding kennels have subsidised the cost of daily care of the dogs, in the past. Now the boarding kennels are closed, this comes out of what funds we have. This includes their regular foods, and the cost of getting dogs to the vets and of getting out to do home checks.
We are still in need of funds to help our stray dogs, and your donations are greatly appreciated.
Our most recent vet bill being over £800.00

If you would like to support us you can call in and make a donation, or send a cheque whenever you wish made out to Woodlands Farm Strays, and send it to the address on our home page.

HOW DO YOU SPEND THE MONEY YOU RECEIVE?

Most of our income is spent on vets bills, vaccination and neutering, antibiotics; wormers; flea treatments and any other medication our dogs need, as well as any surgery they require, x-rays consultations etc.

Also special diets for dogs who are underweight, or have paricular health problems, or allergies. These are foods which are not normaly kept at the kennels. We also have to buy Micro-chips to ensure the dogs we home are tracable in future.

The expenses involved in organising fund raising such as advertising hire of venue etc.
Also any thing we can purchase to make the lives of our stray dogs more interesting and comfortable. so stimulating toys, and some treats especially dental chews.
